Tender description
Flintshire County Council wish to establish a four year non-binding framework agreement for the delivery of works required for the delivery of disabled facilities grants. The opportunity has been sub-divided into supply of materials for the completion of bathroom adaptation works and completion of adaptation works. This notice relates to the completion of adaptation works. This opportunity is divided into 2 lots, further details are included at Section II.2). Further information about the opportunity is provided at Section VI.3). The resulting framework will be capable of being used for works to private properties and properties owned or managed by Flintshire County Council. Please refer to Instructions for Supplier Registration within the additional documents section for further guidance to register on Proactis. External adaptation works including but not limited to supply and fit of ramps, handrails, steps and pathways. A maximum of two contractors will be appointed for this lot. The estimated spend for this lot is a range between 304 000 GBP —1 649 500 GBP. 1 345 000 GBP of spend relates to extensions which will be transacted via Lot 1 and/or Lot 2, contracts for extensions shall be let via a mini-competition. Contractors will be asked to identify if they can build extensions required for a ground floor bathroom / bedrooms. This information will be used to identify organisations to be invited to participate in a mini-competition for these works when required. Internal adaptation works including but not limited to bathroom adaptation works, kitchen adaptation works, flooring, decorating, joinery works, heating and electrical works. A range of between six and eight contractors will be appointed for this lot. The estimated spend for this lot is a range between 2 555 000 GBP — 3 900 500 GBP. 1 345 000 GBP of spend relates to extensions which will be transacted via Lot 1 and/or Lot 2, contracts for extensions shall be let via a mini-competition. Contractors will be asked to identify if they can build extensions required for a ground floor bathroom / bedrooms. This information will be used to identify organisations to be invited to participate in a mini-competition for these works when required.
