Tender description

The proposed contract for the Taxi and Private Hire Marshalling Services tender managed by the London Taxi and Private Hire (LTPH or TPH) directorate. The high level scope that the service provider is expected to provide include providing marshalling activities at late night ranks at busy periods as directed by TfL, providing marshalling activities to cover mainline stations as directed by TfL and providing marshals and on-street officers for ad hoc duties and initiatives as required to meet new emerging requirements. It is important that the Service Provider is able to provide a flexible service with some Ad Hoc work being required at short notice. The Taxi and Private Hire Marshals will assist in making taxi and private hire services safer and more accessible for the public, increase the supply of available taxis and private hire vehicles late at night and provide a safe waiting environment for passengers and drivers. The overall purpose of the Taxi and Private Hire Marshal Services tender is to ensure that there is service continuity beyond the expiry of the current contract whilst achieving TPH business objectives.
