Replacement of Kitchens

Tender description

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (‘The Authority’) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers to refurbish kitchens, including supply of kitchen units and accessories, at three of our fire stations at Langley, Maidenhead and Bracknell. Work will commence in October and be completed by end of March. The successful provider will be expected to provide temporary kitchen facilities whilst work is undertaken at each fire station. Details of this are to be found in our tender document. The Authority is using the Open procedure for the purposes of procuring the contract and the tenders will be evaluated on the basis of achieving the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) in the opinion of the Authority. As the Open procedure is being used we recommend that you are confident that you will meet the minimum requirements prior to completing a full tender return. Given the nature of the work we expect Potential Providers to visit our sites to provide a further understanding of our requirements. The dates available for site visits are between 31 August and 7 September 2016. Details of how to arrange the visit are contained within the tender document. Please note we expect all Potential Providers who submit a tender to attend a visit. The submission date is 1500 on 14 September 2016. Tenders may be submitted before this date but any late submissions will not be considered.
