Repair and maintenance services of electrical and mechanical building installations

Tender description

Hampshire County Council (HCC) published PIN # 2015/S 241-436462 in December 2015 and this PIN serves to update interested parties on the following: 1. The tender will follow the Open procedure (previously not decided / declared). 2. The tender is due for release circa mid September 2016 with the Tender responses expected circa 6-7 weeks later. 3. We will publish two separate Contract Notices i.e. a) for the Building Fabric Term Maintenance Contracts, and b) for the Engineering Term Maintenance Contracts. 4. The Engineering Term Maintenance Tender will include two lots i.e. East Hampshire and West Hampshire. Tenderers will be asked to express their preferences early on as no two lots will be awarded to the same Contractor. 5. Contracts will be awarded for an initial term of five years with an option to extend by a further five years prior to the 4th anniversary of the contracts. Hampshire County Council (HCC) currently have 3 Term Maintenance Contracts (TMC) covering the provision of ‘Hard’ Facilities Management Services (Hard FM) across the county for their Corporate Estate and other key partner organisations. These TMC are due to expire during 2017 and as part of the future planning of our next generation of services we are publishing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify suppliers of the imminent tender exercise. This follows a Supplier Early Engagement event in January 2016. The Services will include the management of mechanical and electrical cyclical and reactive maintenance, with Help desk facilities available to the Authority.
