Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking tenders for the supply of transportation services to transport school children to and from schools and colleges within and around Carmarthenshire, and for local bus services which are provided in areas where the routes are considered by the authority to be socially necessary. Services are to be provided in accordance with the specification and terms and conditions of contract which are attached. Please note TUPE may apply in this contract. The service is designed predominantly to act as a feeder service to the main T1 Aberystwyth — Carmarthen service, although connections will also be available to other services in the area, and bespoke journeys to main hubs within the operational area will also be provided. This tender relates to the North/East section of the Bwcabus zone.(Mondays to Saturdays). This Tender is in respect of the introduction of the Bwcabus scheme which will provide a combination of fixed and demand responsive journeys in the Letterston, Puncheston, Rosebush, Hayscastle Cross, Mathry areas. The service is designed predominantly to act as a feeder service to the main T5 Aberystwyth to Haverfordwest service although connections will also be available to other services in the area, and bespoke journeys to main hubs within the operational area will also be provided. This tender relates to the New zone located in Pembrokeshire.
