Tender description

The scope of this framework is, in its broadest sense, to undertake activities that support the development of 3 of Anglian Water's 4 principle IT strategies. — Work Management Solutions; — End User Computing; — Customer Engagement. We have identified improvements that could be made to our capabilities, and development will need to support a step change in strategic activities to enable the wider business to meet its' efficiency challenge. It is recognised that skills, expertise and demonstrable experience in all strategies will be critical to the success of this transformation programme. This will require designer and technology partners to work collectively with Anglian Water and other third parties to develop and build solutions. The successful partners will also be required to demonstrate a track record in innovation, speed to market and technical best practice. It is envisaged that there will be a pool of providers that will translate our business need into an activity, with open collaboration between Anglian Water and our Service Integrator. It is anticipated that the pool of providers will have the required design,development and technical capability to deliver the programme. There will be no minimum spend per work stream and no exclusivity for any type of work. The individual projects will be allocated to the supplier(s) based on the most appropriate supplier(s) that demonstrate the required skills, experience and expertise for the particular business requirement. It is envisaged that Anglian Water will move towards an incentivised arrangement with all parties (including Anglian Water) contributing towards a target cost. Bidders must be able to demonstrate a capability in 1 or more of the following areas: (a) Work Management Solution: Successful partners within the framework will need to evidence delivery experience and the technical capability to deliver Work management solutions using technologies that will cover materials and logistics management, asset management, resource planning, billing and tariffs, next generation work mgt. application, integrated supply chain mgt. (Enterprise Resource Planning), asset location and visualisation, geographic, environmental and population demographics (Mapping), and integrated field resource and vehicle scheduling (Scheduling) and any associated infrastructure and network changes that may be needed to deliver these capabilities. In addition they will be required to demonstrate experience in using applicable systems for example ERP platform, Resource scheduling platforms, Mapping / GIS platforms. b) Customer Engagement Solution: Successful partners within the framework will need to evidence delivery experience and the technical capability to deliver Customer Management solutions using technologies that will cover targeted engagement. Anglian Water will be looking for suppliers to demonstrate track record in self service, real-time sentiment analysis (Customer relationship Management), real-time communication and collaboration (Unified Communications) and any associated infrastructure and network changes that may be needed to deliver these capabilities. In addition they will be required to demonstrate their experience in using Applicable systems for example CRM platforms, Unified Communication platforms, Microsoft Technologies, and Social media technologies. c) End User Computing: Successful partners within the framework will need to evidence delivery experience and the technical capability to deliver User solutions using technologies that will cover next generation field devices (End User Computing), real-time communications and collaboration (Unified Communications) any associated infrastructure and network changes that may be needed to deliver these capabilities. In addition they will be required to demonstrate their experience in using Applicable Systems for example Unified Communication platforms, End User Computing platforms, Core Infrastructure platforms, and Multimedia streaming and storage.
