Tender description

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as the contracting authority is tendering for the Provision of Armoured Vehicles for our Fleet Service Department (the Services) to the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). The Authority/MPS is seeking through this notification to find suitably capable suppliers with the aim of placing a contract for an initial period of 36 months. The purpose of this PIN is to inform the market this tender is coming in early 2017 and establish if there is an interest in supplying this requirement. This PIN will be published with a Market Engagement Questionnaire via: https://www.bluelight.gov.uk (due north) full details on how to participate will be provided under reference: ACAB-QU4S1M. The Metropolitan Police Service is seeking to contract with a pro-active supplier to work in partnership with its Fleet Services Department to provide high-quality Armoured Vehicles. The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) operates a fleet of 16 armoured Jankel Guardian's in the 3 operational roles described below. Moving forward, the MPS is reviewing its capability and tactics to maintain it's response to ensure it can respond to incidents and keep London safe. The estimated contract value is between 2 000 000 and 5 000 000 GBP. This value is not guaranteed and maybe subject to change.
