Tender description

The proposed new pedestrian footbridge is to be located in the heart of Wimborne Minster (at NGR 401140 99960) in the floodplain of the River Allen. It will span from the open space adjacent to the Wimborne Waitrose supermarket, known as Riverside Park, across to the paved Crown Mead Shopping Centre. East Dorset District Council (EDDC) is project managing the design, procurement and installation of the Works. The Works are for the design, supply and construction of the new footbridge, including foundations, access ramp/steps and associated ancillary Works to reconfigure the adjoining areas
