Tender description

Network Housing Group (NHG) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified service providers to provide an innovative 24/7, 365 days a year Responsive Repairs and Voids Maintenance service as specified in the Term Brief. A full open book model will be adopted for Responsive Repairs under £500, with the Void service, works over £500, roofing and redecorations priced through the NHF schedule of rates. Fixed prices will be used for specialist services such as Drainage. The successful Service Provider will co locate at the Network Housing Group offices to allow a fully embedded culture of putting the contract's key objectives at the forefront of our service delivery. This contract covers circa 13 900 properties across a total of 18 London Boroughs and the surrounding counties. The largest density of stock is contained within the Boroughs of Brent, Westminster, Harrow and Barnet making up approximately 85 % of the properties that will fall under this contract. Within this area, we are completing approximately 23 000 Responsive Repairs and 500 Voids per annum. NHG is looking for 1 contractor to deliver the services and the contract will be for a period of 5 years starting in November 2016 extendable in accordance with the contract terms by up to five (5) further consecutive period(s) of one (1) year. Planned works- NHG may opt to instruct the selected contractor to carry out planned works in accordance with the terms of the contract, which could have a value of up to £5,000,000 pa. However there is no guarantee that planned works will be instructed and NHG will be entitled to procure any planned works it requires separately without any liability to the successful Service Provider whatsoever. Any instruction to carry out planned works shall be entirely at NHG's discretion. Type of procedure: competitive procedure with negotiation will be used. The contracting authority reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of the initial tenders without conducting negotiations.
