Tender description

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is seeking a contractor to provide design and construction services to fit out a new office in Cancun, Mexico. The FCO has taken a lease on premises in a hotel that needs to provide office accommodation and enable public access for consular visitors with a waiting area and partitions between the public and staff areas. The selected contractor will initially be appointed to carry out the outline design for the project in accordance with a performance specification and produce a cost plan and programme for delivery of the works. This information will be required by the client to prepare a Business Case for internal approval of the project. When the project has been approved the contractor will be appointed to proceed with the detailed design, procurement and delivery of the project.
