Tender description
Construction of a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) and access road at Trinity Church of England Primary School (formerly Princes Plain Primary School), Church Lane, Bromley BR2 8LD plus playground resurfacing, parking bay extension and surface drainage works at Midfield Primary School, Grovelands Road, St Paul’s Cray, Orpington, BR5 3EG for The London Borough of Bromley. The proposed works are shown on the existing and proposed drawings issued with the PQQ. The works at Trinity comprise the construction of a new MUGA on an existing playing field, with artificial grass surface and fencing, and a new access road and associated pavements and bays, including all associated groundworks, landscaping and surface water drainage works. The works at Midfield comprise resurfacing of the existing tarmac playground and extension of existing parking bays including line marking plus surface water drainage works. The contractor’s works will include completion of the detailed design beyond RIBA Stage 4 and construction under the JCT Design & Build 2011. Works will be undertaken within the occupied primary school sites. Appointment of the successful contractor is anticipated in May 2016 with completion of the works by 30th October 2016. The works at Midfield are to be undertaken during the school summer holiday 23rd July to 4th September.
