ITT For Noise Mitigation Independant Assessor for Euston

HS2 are looking to commission an Independent Assessor to survey and assess a representative sample of properties in relation to noise effects during the construction of HS2 London Euston Station. The key competences required will be :- • Technical understanding of domestic ventilation systems, membership of HVCA and/or NICEIC desirable; • Be an Approved Inspector on the Construction Industry Council (CIC) register; • Demonstrable experience of specifying and assessing ventilation systems in compliance with Building Regulations, membership of CIBSE or IMechE desirable; • Demonstrable experience of undertaking Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) assessments, membership of CIEH desirable. • Be HHSRS Competency Qualified; • Demonstrable experience in, and ability to undertake, SAP Appendix P Calculations as per Part L1A – of the Building Regulations; and • Experience of advising clients and analytical report writing. For the avoidance of doubt, the scope of works does not require noise specialist support or acoustic expertise and input to be provided by HS2.
