Tender description

The University of Essex is undertaking a competitive exercise to source a suitable skilled and experienced operator to lease, manage and promote a planned Innovation Centre at its Knowledge Gateway Science and Research Park. The University has created the opportunity to build an Innovation Centre as the focal point on its Knowledge Gateway Science and Research Park. This development and the way in which it will be operated is designed to have the potential to significantly increase the University’s ability to realise its ambition of driving economic growth in the East of England through becoming a globally recognised centre for data analytics, creative industries and innovative business. The Innovation Centre will provide a focal point for the University’s 43-acre Science and Research Park, the Knowledge Gateway, with work potentially starting in late 2016.
