PAN1239 - Minor Adaptations Works up to £1k (Adult Social Care)

Tender description

Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of various adaptation works, examples of which include: installation of ramps and handrails, lowering of light switches, widening of doorways, adjustment of taps and raising of beds and chairs. The exact scope is detailed in tender Specification. These works are carried out to properties which will mainly be owner occupied and privately rented. The service is commissioned by Adult Social Care to enable their service users to continue to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible. This opportunity seeks Suppliers to deliver high volume of relatively small value jobs (up to a maximum of £1,000.00 per job, however, majority being considerably smaller); often within a short timescale, e.g. to enable hospital discharges. It is therefore most suited for smaller, locally based businesses.
