PAN1127 - Haymarket Theatre - Refurbishment

Tender description

Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of Haymarket Theatre Refurbishment, PAN1127. The proposed Contract will be a one off and it is anticipated to award to a single Supplier. The site is an existing theatre situated on Haymarket, Leicester. The site is part of the Haymarket shopping centre. The theatre has been lying dormant for several years now. The works entail the refurbishment of the building to reinstate its function as a working theatre comprising new mechanical and electrical installations, various alterations and repairs as per the attached Specification documentation, including the Supply of Sound & Lighting equipment. The installation of the sound & lighting equipment is out of scope of this tender and will be done by others in parallel with these works. Ideally we would like to have these works concluded by the end of February 2017. This would entail completion of all the areas accessible to the public and performers e.g. foyer, auditorium and changing rooms before then and you should ideally allow for some contingency period also.
