Tender description

Warrington Borough Council is keen to operate a Dynamic Purchasing System to meet its needs for specialist transport. This will include home to school, home to adult day centres, etc. A range of vehicles will be required. The initial duration for the DPS will be 53 months with 2 options to extend the DPS by periods of 12 further months. Suppliers are invited to apply to join the DPS at any stage, although initially a call for competition will be held. All contracts let under the DPS will be subject to further competition, this may include e-auctions. The council wishes to indicate that in certain circumstances to meet client demand the 10 day tender period operated under a DPS may be reduced as provided for by Regulations 34 (12) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. Suppliers will be asked to complete a qualifying questionnaire to assess their suitability to be included on the DPS.
