ESPH SB Promenade Improvement Works (ESPH104) - AWARD

Tender description

The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to complete Promenade Improvement Works in the White Rock area of Hastings. The scope of the works is for the provision of a viewing platform, seating areas and kiosk, soft landscaping and planting. It will also involve resurfacing of approx. 5300 m2 of promenade, and the decluttering of existing furniture and signage. The objective is to create a seafront public realm that demonstrates design excellence comparable with the best in Europe, building on the intrinsic character of different zones, creating variety along the seafront while preserving a unified identity.
