Tender description
The University of Nottingham owns and maintains many mechanical systems of varying sizes, including boilers, chillers, air handling units and refrigeration systems throughout its campuses at University Park, Jubilee, Sutton Bonington, Kings Meadow and its Medical Schools at Royal Derby Hospital, Nottingham City Hospital and Queens Medical Centre Nottingham. The University is seeking a number of maintenance service providers who can carry out planned inspection and maintenance works together with any reactive works in support of a risk based maintenance strategy that is employed across the assets maintained by the Estates Office. The University are splitting the contract into 13 Lots as follows: Lot 1 Boilers — Large (>500kW); Lot 2 Boilers — University Park Commercial (15kW-450kW); Lot 3 Boilers — Other Campuses Commercial (15kW-450kW); Lot 4 Boilers — University Houses Domestic (4kW-38kW); Lot 5 Refrigeration — Chillers (7kW-850kW); Lot 6 Refrigeration — Heat Pumps (23kW-150kW); Lot 7 Refrigeration — University Park DX air conditioning; Lot 8 Refrigeration — QMC Medical School DX air conditioning; Lot 9 Refrigeration — Sutton Bonington DX air conditioning; Lot 10 Refrigeration — Other Campuses DX air conditioning; Lot 11 2/4 pipe fan coil units — QMC Medical School; Lot 12 2/4 pipe fan coil units — University Park; Lot 13 2/4 pipe fan coil units — Other Campuses. The University are seeking to select 1 supplier per Lot. Bidder may tender for multiple lots if they wish to.
