Refurbishment of run-down buildings

Tender description

The contract will involve works to refurbish circa 90 houses and apartments in Dublin, Ireland as part of the SEAI Better Energy Communities scheme. The refurbishment works will include supply and fit of: New triple glazed windows and doors; New gas boilers, hot water cylinders, heating controls, timers and thermostats; New mechanical background vents to all wet areas and additional background ventilation to all rooms as required; Carbon monoxide alarms; Upgraded wall and roof insulation. The contractor will also be appointed as the PSCS for the project. The dwellings are split into 2 estates in Dublin 8 and Lucan. The total contract value will be 950 000 EUR ex. VAT at 13,5 %. Contracts will be signed on the 27.6.2016 and the works must be completed by 30.10.2016. This is a VEAT Notice (Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency) publishing the Contracting Authority's intention to award the following works contract using the Negotiated Procedure without Publication of a Contract Notice.
