(NU/1184) - Supply and Installation of Equipment & Fittings for a Kitchen and Service Counter / Bar in the Armstrong Building

Tender description

The scope of the contract is to: i. Survey the site before fabrication or purchase of any equipment and fittings to ensure equipment and fittings will fit. ii. Provide a general arrangement drawing and all necessary information, including services and setting out details, in order for the Newcastle University Estates Department / Main Contractor to complete his works. The Newcastle University Estates Department / Main Contractor will terminate all services within 1 metre of the final required connection, using an appropriate outlet, socket or valve. iii. Supply (including unloading from vehicles and moving to area) and installation of equipment and fittings. The Contractor will be required to complete all final equipment connections, providing all necessary equipment for the fixing, connecting and full execution of the works as indicated by the drawings and specification as a whole. iv. Testing and commissioning all catering equipment listed within this specification, including any associated plant and/or equipment. v. Remove all waste packaging and re-use/recycle where possible, and if not possible to re-use/recycle dispose of in method that most reduces negative environmental impact. vi. Deep clean throughout site. vii. Training for use of Halo Heat® Banquet Cart. viii. On the day of handover submit one bound copy and one electronic copy of a complete operations and maintenance manual.
