891 Exterior Painting to Queens Building at De Montfort University, Leicester

Tender description

The University is seeking to appoint Contractor to carry out exterior paintwork at the University’s Queens Building in Leicester. The Queen’s Building sits at the heart of the busy city centre campus of De Montfort University. The building’s perimeter is a combination of public and private footpaths. Mill Lane is to the north of the building and is pedestrianised. There is clear and level access to all sides of the building. Members of the public, staff and students have access to the elevations of the building that require painting, and segregation will form a key part of this project. The works to be carried out consists of making good woodwork and steelwork, and painting, with some scaffolding and minor roof works. The work is to be carried out from the 4th July to 29th July 2016.
