Valley Primary School - Heating Replacement (PCM Programme 16-17) RE-TENDER

Care: this is a Contracts Finder Award Notice:- This project is part of a larger programme of planned ‘Prioritised Capital Maintenance Programme’ works to schools being undertaken by Cumbria County Council across Cumbria. The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Contractor to provide – heating replacement at Valley Primary School, Whinlatter Road Whitehaven CA28 2DA. The works will comprise the replacement of the heating system to the school. This will include the removal of the redundant heating F & R tank, control panel and all associated heating HWS primary pipework wiring and containment. The installation of new distribution pipework, pumps and radiators along with new control systems etc. NOTE:- Due to the scheme taking place within an active School it is proposed that the works are carried out over two years during the summer holiday period 2015 & 16. The works within the school need to be completed in a sequence to allow the contractors cleaning team to “follow on” in order that the school is ready for reuse at the end of the holiday period.
