Flood History The village of Walkeringham experienced significant flooding in June 2007 when much of the High Street including the primary school where inundated. Several near misses have been reported since including in 2012 where properties on High Street were twice evacuated due to the risk of flooding. Proposed Scheme The Walkeringham Flood Alleviation Scheme (FAS) promoted by Bassetlaw District Council will involve the construction of a flood relief channel (of approximate total length of 1km) around the west of the village to relieve flooding along the High Street and compensate for the lack of channel and culvert capacity along Walkeringham Beck. The flood relief channel will commence in open ditch from North Moor Road to South Moor Road. From South Moor Road a 1200mm diameter pipeline will be installed crossing beneath South Moor Road and Gringley Road with an outfall into a new open channel before connecting into Moor Drain to the south of the village. The pipeline will be a total length of approximately 660 metres and up to 8 metres deep. PAS 91 Prequalification Questionnaire The questions within this Prequalification Questionnaire (PQQ) are taken from PAS 91 issued by the British Standards Institution (bsi) in 2013. Suppliers are recommended to read this Publicly Available Specification. Tables and module numbers presented within this PQQ are consistent with those within PAS 91.
