Reactive Building Fabric Repairs

Tender description

The main scope of works is to provide a reactive fabric building service for the City’s property portfolio. These works will include but are not be limited to: glazing, carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing and general handyman services. The calls for this work will be distributed to the supplier through the Property Service Desk with a priority response matrix giving the time within which the work should be completed. The City’s property portfolio is widespread and not just within the square mile so coverage of an area from the North at Epping Forest to the East at Tilbury Dock to the South at Burnham Beeches to the West at Heathrow Airport is essential. The duration of the contract will be up to two years, subject to the right of the City at its sole discretion to terminate (without cause) after the first 12 months. The values given are estimates only and will be dependent on works required throughout the duration of the contract.
