Dreamland Phase 2-1.1 Internal and External Refurbishment Works

Thanet District Council is seeking to undertake Renovation works to Dreamland Cinema Foyer and Former Sunshine Café, Marine Terrace Margate, Kent. Works shall consist of :- To Former Sunshine Café: Repair original building fabric, installation of new and replacement metal windows to West and North elevations, new roof covering, restoration work to fin and brick fascia, installation of bespoke passenger lift, New external signage and neon lighting. To Cinema Foyer: Restoration of foyer back to original 1930`s design, to include, new brass hand railing, Metal entrance doors, plastering to walls, Venetian plaster work to ceiling, restoration of Pay desk, bespoke lighting and signage, internal doors, windows and restoration to decorative atrium ceiling. The contract will be under the JCT 2011 Standard Building Contract without quantities with Thanet District Council's special conditions.
