Coal Orchard Disposal Options - Participation in Soft Market Testing Exercise

In line with its adopted planning policies and threcent Town Centre Rethink document the Council wishes to develop the Coal Orchard area of Taunton. This development will create a new identity for the Coal Orchard area providing a mixed use development that contributes towards the overall vitality and viability of Taunton`s town centre. The Council wishes to hold workshops with three selected parties to undertake Soft Market Testing with Mace Limited and TDBC Officers to test the key points below. Following these 2 hour workshops, the Supplier will provide a brief report on the workshop structured around the points below: 1. Review of current proposals and commentary 2. Viability review 3. Commentary on how the Councils key drivers for the site can be achieved 4. Disposal options available for the Council Please note. No payment will be made for participating in the exercise . Non registration will not disadvantage any organisation in any future procurement exercise related to this project. In the event that more than three organisations express an interest in taking part a short exercise will be carried out to select the three organisations.
