Summer Refurbishment Works Penryn Campus

Tender description

Falmouth Exeter Plus is looking to recruit a contractor / partner to undertake refurbishment and alteration works to existing academic, amenity and support space on the Penryn Campus, Cornwall. The majority of the works will be required to be undertaken from June 2016 onwards and the balance of the works to be completed during September 2016. By value the works are likely to include 25% of M and E building services, so evidence of a suitable sub-contractor/ partner is essential. Summary of Projects: • Refurbishment of lecture theatre including retractable seating for 300, decoration and associated building services alterations. Timeline - June to August 2016. Approximate Budget -£200,000 • Alterations and refurbishment of offices. Timeline July and August 2016. Approximate Budget -£50,000. • Alterations and refurbishment of offices into seminar rooms. Timeline June to August 2016. Approximate Budget £45,000. • Internal fit out of temporary space to provide offices and meeting rooms. Timeline June to July 2016 Approximate Budget £45,000. • Alterations and equipment to catering and storage spaces. Timeline July and August 2016. Approximate Budget - £135,000 • Alterations and refurbishment of toilets and dining hall. Timeline June to August 2016. Approximate Budget £72,000. • Alterations and refurbishment of former reception. Timeline September and October 2016. Approximate Budget £45,000.
