GB-Peterborough: Re-roofing works

Tender description

"The following project is to be sent out to tender on 29/04/2016 with a tender return date 20/05/2016. Form of contract will be JTC standard building contract without quantities. Works compromise the stripping off and re-roofing to all flat and pitched roof areas on the site, to include the replacement of existing glazed roof lights and roof coverings/cheeks to existing dormers. Also the supply & installation of replacement rainwater goods to all roof areas. Existing pitched roof areas have natural slate coverings. These are to be replaced with an alternative tiled option. Flat roof areas to b e thermally uprated to achieve current minimum building regulations requirements. Built up bitumen based roofing system to be used, with a minimum 20 year manufacturers warranty provided. Approved installers only will be acceptable for their installation. Full works package to be priced. The site is a primary school located within a busy residential area. Works are to take place during the summer holiday period whilst the school is closed."
