Tender description

Yorkshire Water has a capital programme to deliver approximately 9 significant Fish Passes in AMP6. Yorkshire Water Services seek to establish a framework of Contractors to provide procurement, construction and commissioning of various fish passage solutions, ranging from technical fish passes to weir removal or partial removal. These works will involve construction in riverine environments and have interfaces with flood defences, flow control and measurement structures and public access areas. The scope of works will include but not be limited to: procurement, temporary works, construction, commissioning and hand-back. It is envisaged that full construction drawings and specifications will be issued for these works. Contractors who indicate their interest in this opportunity will need to demonstrate a capability in delivering civil engineering construction projects in a riverine environment in later stages of this procurement process.
