Resurfacing Contract for roads and streets in Cork City

Tender description

The contract consists of approximately 41,000 m2 of road resurfacing including inter alia, planing of existing surfaces and laying of generally of 40mm of stone mastic asphalt or Hot Rolled Asphalt wearing course. Approx. 10,000 m2 of the above 41,000 m2 will also receive a new 60mm layer of dense bituminous macadam binder course. The Contract includes improvement of road drainage where required, repositioning utility covers and replacement of all road markings and other ancillary works necessary for the completion of the contract. In addition to the above, footpaths renewal works are being carried out under the Contract.
