Tender description

All minor building maintenance and repair works services for Anglian Water Services to support our operations and capital delivery alliances across the entire Anglian Water geographical region. Activity types included within the scope of the agreement are: Window and door replacement and repair / Fencing, gate repairs and edge protection / Facia repairs / Pathways and paving slab repairs and installation / Minor roof repairs / Internal and external decorating / Roller shutter door repairs / Building repairs and brickwork / Manhole cover replacements within boundary of pumping stations and water/water recycling sites / Metal chamber repairs within boundary of pumping stations and water/water recycling sites / Guttering and down pipe repairs and replacements / Minor ducting installation and repairs for site services within boundary of pumping stations and water/water recycling sites / Flood damage temporary repair and installation (stop logs e.t.c.) / Minor pipework repairs within boundary of pumping stations and water/water recycling sites / Pollution clean ups / Interim Facilities Management maintenance activities. During the tender process and post award, bidders will required to fully demonstrate a level of Health and Safety (ranging from Low to High risk) and Professional competence for each activity of confirmed interest. The initial contract period will be 2 years with a 4 x 1 year extension options. Multiple agreements will be awarded to ensure capacity and coverage of the entire region. Work allocation and framework management processes are in place to ensure fair and performance based work opportunities to successful bidders. Further details will be provided during the tender process. The Anglian region stretches from the Humber, north of Grimsby, to the Thames estuary and then from Buckinghamshire to Lowestoft on the east coast. In this region we will require 4 hour emergency response service on a number of the framework activities mentioned above. We also service Hartlepool water and service levels for this area will be determined during the tender process.
