Tender description

Leicester City Council has been successful in securing development funding for a £1.1million Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). Following a successful second bidding round in 2014, works have begun in the THI area to tackle social and economic problems. Initiatives such as building conservation repairs, bringing empty buildings back into new uses and partnership working with businesses and property owners will spruce up the area and make it much more vibrant.
