Tender description
Central Bedfordshire Council is looking to set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of Public and Supported Community Bus Services. This system will be used to procure all Public bus services in Central Bedfordshire. The DPS will enable the Authority to utilise Potential Providers who meet the minimum service specification and will be evaluated by price and quality on a contractual basis. Potential Providers who are successfully accepted onto the DPS will then be invited to bid for new contracts via either mini competitions or E-Auctions, as and when existing contracts are due to expire or the need for additional contracts is identified. As a procurement tool, it allows new suppliers to be able to join at any time throughout the life of the DPS.
