Tender description

Logistics services for Anglian Water Services to support our operations and capital delivery alliances including the provision of 24 hours, seven days a week delivery of emergency items to site if required. Many of the stock items are water materials which have to be stored and delivered in accordance with the Reg 31 requirements of Defra. We are exploring 2 options either utilising a third party warehouse or AWS leasing a warehouse to be run by a third party provider. Both of these options will require the successful bidder to provide a warehouse management system, transport and staff. The initial contract period will be 5 years with a 1 x 3 yr extension option. The Anglian region stretches from the Humber, north of Grimsby, to the Thames estuary and then from Buckinghamshire to Lowestoft on the east coast. In this region we will require 4 hr emergency delivery service on a 24hr 365 days a year basis. We also service Hartlepool water and service levels for this area will be determined during the tender process. A Parent Company Guarantee may be required.
