North Tower 8th Floor Laboratory Refurbishment

Tender description

The project involves the refurbishment of the whole of North Tower ,7th & 6th Floors including the circulation/ corridor areas of N8,N6, East Tower 5th floor & E805. Although N7 corridor space was refurbished in 2015, it will need modification to reflect the proposed changes on N7 generally. The project includes, but is not limited to, the careful isolation of M&E services, removal of redundant mechanical & electrical services, removal & encapsulation of asbestos containing materials; removal & carting away of furniture, floor finishes & existing vertical blinds. Demolitions of masonry walls; room remodelling, plastering, new suspended ceilings, new LED lighting; decorations, supply, installation, commissioning & programming of Audio Visual equipment, supply & installation of new blackout roller blinds & the supply & laying of new floor finishes. A single contractor will be appointed to carry out the works and no part of the project will be split.
