93306 - Bournville Primary School - Provision of 10 classrooms and supporting spaces inc 2 corridors at 1st floor – internal remodelling of existing school building

Birmingham City Council invites organisations to make an application to be considered for inclusion on a select list of tenderers for internal refurbishment and part external refurbishments of existing single storey building as part of a re-use of an existing education building. The works are to be completed and invoiced in full before the 21st Oct 2016. Brief Description of Works: • Removal of selected internal finishes, walls, M&E items that are surplus to requirements or need replacing • New internal walls , doors and glass screens to form 10 classrooms and supporting spaces including staff areas and break out spaces • New electrical lighting LST radiators to replace existing new fire and security alarms including new access control system to be linked to existing • New painted finishes to walls ceilings and carpets to selected floor areas. • New corridors at 1st floor re modelling of existing laboratories to suit Two phase contract 1st phase 6 classrooms completed 28th August 2016 2nd phase 4 classrooms completed 21st Oct 2016 The Council will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration and evaluation of this tender process, which along with the project scope and specification may also include requirements to provide the following for consideration:- • Company Profile – Turnover, Organograms, Client Relationships, Sales Pipeline, Professional Body Registration / Memberships • Trade and Bank references (where appropriate). • Evidence of acceptable H&S and Quality Management Systems & Practices • Evidence of insurances to support required levels of indemnity & liability • Evidence of recent project history working on similar projects in similar environments with supporting case studies and method statements If you are interested in applying and would like a copy of the quotation please register an interest on in-tend.
