Tender description

The University of Sheffield, Finance Department wish to employ the services of Valuation Surveyors to undertake the process of valuing the Academic and Administration Buildings. Potential service providers will be requested to submit a price for: a) a full valuation of Academic and Administrative Buildings as at 31 July 2016 & Reinstatement Cost Assessment (as defined by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) b) a price for both a full valuation at 31 July 2016 and an interim valuation at 31 July 2019 & Reinstatement Cost Assessment (as defined by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) If, for any reason, the University decides that a valuation is not required in 2019 then the tender price submitted for 2016 shall stand and the University will not be contracted to the instruction for 2019. This will also apply if the valuation surveyor, for any reason, cannot undertake the valuation in 2019. Purpose The purpose of the Valuation is to determine the worth of the University’s Academic and Administration Assets for inclusion in the University’s financial statements.
