Tender description

The Contract is for the construction, completion, testing and commissioning of the following works: All permanent and temporary works associated with off-line construction of Kilmore Bridge as indicated on scheme drawing No's HSU/263/01-30 and the contract Specification. A single span integral bridge is to be constructed using precast, prestressed Y3 beams with reinforced concrete retaining walls retaining the road and realigning the river banks. The vertical and horizontal alignment of the carriageway approaching/exiting the off-line structure will tie into the existing highway alignment. BT, NIE, Street Lighting and NI Water services will be affected by the scheme. All permanent and temporary works associated with the demolition of the existing bridge pier and deck, partial demolition of the abutments and construction of capping beams, embankments and masonry parapets.
