The Ideas College - Fit-out scheme for permanent accommodation for an Alternative Provision School

Tender description

The Education Funding Agency requires a suitably experienced Contractor to express their interest to tender for the fit out of the first floor ‘shell-and-core’ of an existing Multi-use building. The Contractor will be procured on a full design and build basis for the works of a permanent accommodation facility for an alternative provision school comprising 4 classrooms, group rooms, social area, office and administration, kitchen and toilet facility of an overall floor area of approx. 815 sqm. The target construction programme runs from end of July to mid-December 2016 with a full planning application submission by the contractor in May 2016. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the following split: Qualitative assessment (60%) / Quantitative assessment (40%).
