Tender description
Ealing Council successfully secured £800,000 through the Mayor of London's High Street Fund (HSF- funds to be spent by April 2016) and New Homes Bonus (NHB- to be spent by April 2017), to implement a programme of interventions to help transform and enhance the character of Acton town centre into a more attractive, functional, vibrant, welcoming area. Key projects covered by this brief include: • Delivery of public realm improvements (approx. 5000m2) – ‘in scope’ of this commission • A new workspace hub (approx. 250m2) – feasibility work ‘in scope’ of this commission • Business support initiatives (approx. 25 businesses supported) – ‘out of the scope’ of this commission • Development of a business improvement district – ‘out of scope of this commission’; and • Formation of a Town Team and delivery of various town centre events, marketing and promotion activities – ‘out of the scope’ of this commission For more detailed information please refer to Part C Specification Brief.
