Tallaght Village to M50 (Templeogue) Green route

Tender description

South Dublin County Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors for the construction of the Tallaght Village to M50 (Templeogue) Green route Street Improvement Works including the provision of new street infrastructure, upgraded utilities, new pavements, new cyclist measures & new road pavements. The proposed works will comprise (but not limited to) the following: 1. Provision of approximately 2km of new cycle route on Main Street Tallaght and Old Tallaght Road between Tallaght Village and the M50 underpass at Brookmount; 2. Construction of new off-road cycle tracks on Old Tallaght Road; 3. Pedestrian and cyclist safety improvement works at a number of junctions on the route; 4. Improvements to existing bus stops along the route; 5. Replacement of affected trees and other landscaping works throughout the scheme; 6. Footpath improvement works throughout the scheme; 7. Provision of new road drainage and associated works where required; 8. Provision of new public lighting, road markings and cycle route signage.
