Tender description

The N67 Caherfeenick Pavement Improvement Scheme comprises the excavation of approximately 980m of the existing road embankment and approximately 1m depth of peat to foundation level and reconstructing the road at a lower level. The existing road is constructed on a bog rampart which is showing signs of distress by way of longitudinal cracking. The road is less than 5m wide with a narrow verge and is up to 4m above the surrounding fields. This tender was awarded to Chris Barry Plant HIre Ltd.
