TENDER FOR UPGRADE WORKS AT PORT OF CORK – CRUISE TERMINAL, COBH, CORK

Tender description

Tenders are invited from experienced and competent Civil/Marine Engineering Contractors for upgrade works at Cobh Cruise Terminal, Port of Cork The works comprise the construction of 3 nr mooring bollards support structures and will include; 1. Steel and concrete piling in the marine environment 2. Installation of ground anchors 3. Precast and in-situ concrete works 4. Steel access bridges The works will require the use of floating/jack-up marine plant Tenderers should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the completion of marine piling and civil engineering works similar to the nature of those proposed. The works will be undertaken in a operational port environment and Tenderers will be required to demonstrate a knowledge and experience of working within an operational working environment. Tenderers will be required to complete a tender questionnaire to demonstrate relevant experience and adequate resources for successful completion of the works The successful Tenderer will be appointed by the employer as Project Supervisor (Construction Stage) in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations, 2006.
