External Refurbishment Works Programme 2016 - 2020

Tender description

L&Q are looking to procure contractors for a programme of works to include major repairs, renewals, upgrades or improvements to the external envelope of the building and any external and internal communal areas. Summary of works to be included (but not limited to):- Front/Back/Side Doors (depending on lease)- Chimneys- Communal doors- Fascias, soffits & bargeboards- Flat Roof replacement- Pitched Roof replacement- Roof covering replacement- Porches- Balconies- Rainwater goods- Retaining walls- Roof insulation- Soil vent pipes- Structural Works - concrete repairs i.e. spalling concrete issue- Wall finish i.e. Repairs to fair faced brick, glass curtain walling, non-traditional, pointing, pebble dashing, plastic cladding, render, stone, tile hung, weather boarded- Wall insulation- Waste management, (Rubbish chutes, bin stores)- Window replacement- Fire Safety Works- Asbestos Survey & Removal- Access arrangement is scaffolding, towers, cherry pickers etc.It is envisaged that the initial contract will run to March 2020 with an option to extend for a further one year.
