Tender description

The works to be carried out will consist primarily of works to improve the energy efficiency of dwellings. The Local authority dwellings are made up of 2 and 3 bed semi detached/ terraced two storey houses. The extent of the works may vary for each dwelling but will primarily consist of the following works. 1. Clean out houses of all furnishing & rubbish. 2. Cleanout gutters & down pipes. 3. Installation of new fencing, gates and railings where required. 4. New Kitchens where required. 5. External wall insulation & some pumping of cavities. 6. Installation of additional attic insulation, to include the insulation of pipes, water tanks, loft access walk ways and the improvement to passive ventilation where required. 7. Replacement of timber and concrete floors 8. Ventilation. 9. Drylining of Walls as required. 10. Energy Efficient Light Bulbs and Electrical Assessments. 11. Painting & decorating 12. Removal of existing ranges & Installation of stoves . 13. Landscaping works to gardens.
