Mental Health Unit Refurbishment Works at Basildon Hospital consists of four areas of work (subject to seperate approval) including the redevelopment of the S136 Suite and improvements to the Wet Rooms in the Assessment Unit, the relocation of the Seclusion Room within the Hadleigh Unit and works to the Main Reception within the unit. This is a JCT Intermediate Works contract. All interested contractors should be Constructionline registered and CHAS certified. The Trust will appoint a main building contractor who will be responsible for any subcontractors that they may use. The project will also be carried out under and should conform with the following: 1. CDM Regulations 2. IEE Wirings Regualtions (17th Edition) 3. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 The above list is not exhaustive. Contractors are requested to send their expressions of interest and up to date certification for Constructionline and CHAS by the 30th October 2015.
