Princes Park Landscaping Design and Build Contract

LANDSCAPING CONTRACT Eastbourne Borough Council seeks expressions of interest from suitable specialist landscaping contractors to tender for the Design and Build Contract for the works around the café and bowling green in Princes Park in Eastbourne; to the roadway and shore front which has an estimated value of £680,000.00. To achieve selection for the tender list the Contractor must: 1. Have an annual turnover of a minimum of £1.5 million 2. Be capable of providing a bond or parent company guarantee. (This may or may not be taken out dependent upon the financial position of the successful contractor) 3. Have a minimum Professional Indemnity Insurance level of £1 million for each and every incident plus Employer’s Liability and Public Liability insurance to a level of £5 million 4. Have in-house capability and all necessary authorisation to work on the public highway or be capable of outsourcing to a suitably qualified sub-contractor 5. Have a proven track record in delivering landscaping projects of this size on budget, on time and to the required quality. This is to be demonstrated by references on 3 projects from the Employer 6. Have adequate resources and capacity to tender and deliver the project within the next 9 to 12 months. Any response to this advertisement shall include proof of the above selection criteria.
