Tender description

Darlington BC, A68 West Auckland Road, North Bound Carriageway, opposite Burtree Gate to Swan House Roundabout, Darlington. Carriageway Patching, Resurfacing and Cold Milling. Notes to all - All traffic management will be provided by Darlington BC DSO. Works to be carried out under road closure, closed for the duration of the works. Emergency vehicle access to be maintained at all times. You must only provide rates for the lot(s) appropriate to you. You are reminded you must not exceed your maximum framework rate (where one exists) for items listed within the project Work Content 1 - will be carried out by Darlington BC DSO - Installation, movement and removal of traffic management, ironwork adjustment. White lining to be arranged separately by Darlington BC DSO. Work Content 2 - will be carried out by the Framework Surfacing Contractor(s)- All traffic management will be provided by Darlington BC DSO. A68 West Auckland Road, Burtree Gate to Swan House Roundabout Regulate and lay 60mm thick dense binder course, 20mm nominal size to patches. Regulate and lay 50mm thick and HRA, surface course stability 4-8kN, 35/14F, 50mm thick with a PSV of 68 & 60, 20mm nominal size (Drawing:- Surfacing Layout 04D/15M/01) Work Content 3 - will be carried out by the Framework Cold Milling Contractor - All traffic management will be provided by Darlington BC DSO A68 West Auckland Road, Burtree Gate to Swan House Roundabout Plane out existing surface 60mm (Drawing:- Surfacing Layout 04D/15M/01).
