Bolsover District Council Re-Roofing Contract Works 2015 – 2019 (1+1+2 Yr Contract) Summary of Contract Works Bolsover District Council is seeking to appoint a principal roofing contractor to undertake the re-roofing and associated works at council owned domestic properties located throughout the district. The duration of the contract term is to cover a four year period and is to be arranged on a 1 + 1 + 2 year basis with a budgeted value of £800k per annum. Associated Contract Works • Removal / Re-building / Re-pointing of chimney stacks • Replacement of existing fascia and soffits with UPVc • Replacement of existing rainwater goods with UPVc • Inspection of and the undertaking of repairs to existing firewalls • Roof strengthening works as required • Replacement / Reconnection of existing extractor fan vents and boiler vertical flues including testing as required • The temporary re-location and re-fixing of TV aerials and satellite dishes • Inspection of existing low level flat roofs and undertaking and the undertaking of re-roofing / repair works as required • Renewal of existing dormer window structures Contract Tender Information Contractors are invited to tender for the opportunity of being selected by the council as the principal contractor, subject to review, for the duration of the four year re-roofing contract term. The contractor with the most economic advantageous tender submission will be appointed to undertake all works. The evaluation of this tender is to be assessed on a 70% price and 30% quality basis. All works undertaken are to be covered by a five year guarantee defect warranty period. Please note: All documentation included the ITT must be returned with the submission
