Investigative Removal Works Dreamland Cinema Foyer and Former Cafe

Thanet District Council is seeking to undertake Renovation works to Dreamland Cinema Foyer and Former Sunshine Café, Marine Terrace Margate, Kent. Works shall consist of:- To Former Sunshine Café: The contract is for the Internal strip out of all the non-original interventions including wall/floor/ceiling finishes to the space to uncover the existing features of the Grade ii* Listed Building. Demolition will include removal of asbestos materials. To Cinema Foyer: The contract is for the Internal strip out of all the non-original interventions including wall/floor/ceiling finishes to the cinema entrance foyer and staircase to the first floor space to uncover the existing features of the Grade ii* Listed Building. Demolition will include removal of asbestos materials. The contract will be under the JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2011 Edition, to include public sector amendment 2011 and JCT amendment 1, 2015. This procurement process contains minimum standards which must be met to deliver the contract requirements. Minimum standards will be assessed by contractors responses to questions as contained in the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire.
